SO who buys alpacas?
 
Some of our animals’ new homes include...
Mr Bailey and Brandee Mr Bailey recently found a new home, with Brandee at Grose Wold. They will be minding 3 goats (5 very soon) and will also have a stable of stunning horses to talk to. Mr Bailey is a beautiful white boy, who will make a great show wether given the opportunity. And Brandee is a solid dark fawn female who will enjoy not being last in the pecking order anymore
Phantom Young Phantom was the first male we had had born for about 2 years. He is a gorgeous little man with brilliant white points, and a beautiful black fleece. We could have sold him 5 times over, but he is lucky enough to have found a home alongside the McDonald River at St Albans (just north of Wiseman’s Ferry). He joined a herd of 3 other alpacas, and a few horses). Phantom is a stunning fellow with plenty of attitude. His fleece is an extremely lustrous blue black fleece with a broad crimp.
Bossa Nova and Alex Now we have to admit that it was difficult for us to part with these two boys. Alex (Alexander the Great) was the first stud male we ever bought/owned and he did a fabulous job with many of our females. He was always an absolute gentleman. He certainly exerted his dominance over some of the boys, but eventually lived in harmony with Bossa Nova. But he really was a big teddy bear, who loved a cuddle. Bossa Nova was a young male who we bred and grew out, but eventually decided to wether. He is a real cutey. Both Alex and Bossa now have a fantastic home with a stud of miniature horses on the NSW south coast. Alex is a dark fawn who has won several ribbons and Bossa is a solid light fawn whose fleece we will be showing in Hawkesbury Show, having won first place last year.
Cranebrook High School On Saturday 3rd September 2011, we delivered two alpacas, Domino and Frances, to Cranebrook High School. And then Celtic Reign joined the herd and is enjoying life at the school.
