Wet, Muddy, Damp, eewwww!!!

Sydney rains, turned the alpaca section of the Hawkesbury Show to what perhaps should have been a seal show. Most of the grass remained underwater all weekend, so unfortunately the animal classes were cancelled.

Our fleeces, however, were judged.

We got 3 Firsts, 2 Seconds and 2 Thirds - from 7 entries! Which isn’t too bad, we reckon.

And we took animals down to display on Saturday and Sunday (about 5 breeders took over the concrete undercover area.) And Masquerade and her new cria (Sapphire - named for her blue eyes), along with Hera, Autumn Rain (an apt name considering the conditions), D’Artagnan and Aramis were great. Plenty of pats, cuddles and the occasional selfie!!!
