Hawkesbury Agricultural Show was held over the 27-29 April 2012. The alpaca show was held on Saturday 28th April 2012.

Ironbark Ridge Alpacas entered 4 animals into the show.

Our were:

Kurralea Apollo - 1st Adult Medium Fawn Male

Kurralea Apollo - Reserve Champion Adult Male

Ironbark Ridge Serendipity - 3rd Intermediate Brown Female

Ironbark Ridge Uptown Girl - 1st Junior Medium Fawn Female

Additionally, we entered Kurralea Apollo’s fleece and he took out Reserve Champion Fleece.

ironbark Ridge Solitaire didn’t gain a ribbon in her class, however she was mainly entered so that our little girl Charlotte could take her in Junior Handler class, which Charlotte won 2nd place. Solitaire was also selected to be one of the animals used for Junior Judging, as she is a very well behaved young female who allows the judges to look all over her.
